For those balking at the amount of money spent for both seasons of Arcane ($250 million), you can say that it was money well spent. We’re halfway into the 2nd season and already they’re hitting us in the gut, yet again. All of the plot movements do seem to be at a faster pace this time around. Perhaps it might be that they had to combine 2 seasons’ worth of story into a single season. My thinking was that Netflix was running a bit gunshy at the time of renewal and greenlighting a 3rd season might’ve been too much for them to bankroll. Whatever the course, I’m excited, saddened, and eagerly waiting to see how this story finishes up next weekend. What are your thoughts on the season? Act II Spoiler I’m hoping that Isha isn’t killed off during the explosion at the end of episode 6. We saw the same effect during the ending of season 1 with Jinx and the Hextech gem and her missle. The death of Isha and the loss of Vander (again) will break Jinx I think

We’re seeing the new generation of streaming services as they are all beginning, or have already, moved to having ad-supported tiers. Netflix Says Ad Tier Reaches 70 Million Users Globally - VarietyI’m okay with the streaming services having ad-tier accounts but, my issue is with Amazon Prime Video forcing ads into your account, especially if you are paying annually even before the next renewal. That one pissed me off.
